- Induction-All members joining the organisation have to complete a standard induction package plus an introduction to their role. (Basic first aid)
- Total First Aid - Combines elements of community first aid and ones assessed enables members to treat unsupervised on duty.
- First Aid at Work (FAW) - Members wishing to extend their skills from Emergency Life Support and Basic First Aid which specifically focuses on work place injuries.
- Moving and Handling Principles - Covers the basic principles of moving and handling including risk assessment. (Included in the Induction course)
- Moving and Handling People - The techniques and risk assessment process used in the moving and handling of people.
- Moving and Handling Casualties - This course covers the techniques and risk assessment process used in moving and handling of casualties using ambulance equipment.
- Automated External Defibrillator- This course covers the management of cardiac arrest situation using an AED.
- Medical Gases- This course covers the safe storage and use of medical gases and how to manage a casualty with the addition of medical gases.
- Fire Marshall-This course provides an insight into the fire regulations and general fire precautions and the training to be an effective fire marshal.
- Risk assessment-This course provides a basic understanding of the principles of risk assessment and a working knowledge of how to perform a risk assessment for St John Ambulance training and operational activities.
- Banks man -This course is designed for all drivers, and members who may need to guide the driver of a vehicle in the standard techniques used.

- Ambulance Pre-Assessments- All members to undertake ambulance training will need to successfully complete a pre-assessment, which includes a lifting assessment with Tuff Kelly, Incident and Resuscitation scenarios and a short review for why the member wants to undergo ambulance training.
- Patient Transport Attendant - A course to train candidates to operate in the role as an ambulance attendant on a non-emergency ambulance.
- Emergency Transport Attendant - A course to train candidates in the role as an ambulance attendant on an emergency ambulance.
